Winter's Last Stand, a Morning Walk wtih Darcey

This morning after a very cold and snowy evening, I awoke to a white wonderland and a bluebird sky. The sun shining and sparkling over all the fresh snow. Suprisingly it isn't that cold outside, and I'm sure the snow will be gone by tomorrow as it will be in the upper 50's. But, as is always true, winter fights with spring as to who will have control during the early spring. The equinox signals the start of the light half of the year, and the promise of summer warmth and fruits, but winter hasn't lost her grasp yet.
Here's proof I gathered on my walk this morning. I couldn't stand to stay in bed inside any longer and hopped right up, dressed, drank some water and headed out to see the beauty of winter in spring.
