Today I found the first buds popping open on the hawthorn tree down the walk! Hooray! Spring is coming finally! The daffodils are out, and the dandelions are poking their leaves up!We made a trip over to the Hawthorn Community Gardens this morning to check out the plot we were assigned for the year! Yay! Gardening too! I'm already fantazising about all the plants I want to plant this year, wood betony, holy basil, hyssop, and veggies and more! It is a huge garden with over a hundred plots in it. my garden last year had 15 small plots. These range from 140 to 400 sq ft.
It's exciting to think of spring and possibilities!
