Summer Season Herb Walks

For all you folks in the Tucson area, I've got some good news for you.

I've planned a few Plant Walks for the months of June and July!

June 25th, 8am -12pm Mid Elevation
Join me bright and early to avoid the summer heat in a shady wash to visit some of the medicinal and edible plants of the mid-elevation life zone on Mt Lemmon. We'll discuss wildcrafting, preparation and medicinal, edible and other uses of the plants we see.

$20 per person. Please register by June 21, 2008.

Carpooling suggested, I have room for a couple in my vehicle, or we can arrange to meet somewhere in town for carpooling.

Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, sun hat or sunscreen and camera and note pad. The walk will be mellow paced, but the ground is rocky and uneven. Good shoes are a must. We will stop in the shade from time to time to cool off and relax.

July 19th, 9am -1 pm, High elevation
We'll explore the higher elevations on this walk, where the air should be cooler in the midst of summer. We'll discuss wildcrafting, preparation and medicinal, edible and other uses of the plants we see.

$20 per person. Please register by July 15, 2008.

Looking foward to having you join me to enjoy the magic of the plants in our beautiful Southwestern home!

E mail me to register or with questions about either walk.
